Training and Development

Active Dental is committed to ensuring that its staff and associates are supported to receive high quality structured training. We have implemented a structured training programme which complies with the GDC requirements to allow all our existing and new team members to progress their knowledge and skills.

The aim of our training program is to encourage dental staff and associates to further their competency and allow them to deliver the best quality of dental care for patients, we do this by using personal development plan (PDP) for each member of staff.

Each personal development plan simply identifies an individuals development needs and at the same time devises the best way to satisfy these requirements. This process is part of Clinical Governance and it is a government requirement that all clinicians in the NHS have and use a personal development plan.
